After an inspection we normally send our clients a thank-you note.
Although we don't ask for a response, we very often hear back from them. Following are some of the comments we've received, used with permission.

The inspection report that John Schiffer created served as a very important tool in my purchasing decision process. John's analysis and report were both thorough and very well communicated. In the end, I decided against purchasing a property based on findings from John's inspection that I would otherwise have overlooked. His local knowledge in particular is very strong, and easily offsets his nominal inspection fee. I look forward to having John inspect all future properties and incorporating his findings into my purchasing decision process. explain how great he was! He not only came on very short notice, but when he got
there he was fantastic and thorough. He was very professional but he also wasn't

After negotiating a $1,000 reduction in purchase price, based on your findings,
we decided to proceed with the purchase and are busy contacting potential
kitchen/bath renovators.
We are also making multiple copies of your report to send to our new strata
council. Judging by your comments and their comparably low association fees,
we strongly suspect that they have not been spending enough money to maintain
their building optimally. Like anyone else, we don't want to spend more
money than necessary. However, we feel strongly that it is not in ours or
our co-owners ultimate best interests, financially or otherwise, to allow
deferred maintenance to deteriorate into loss of property values and general
ambiance.
Your information may not be well-received by the association, but we think
it's better now than later.
